Reason of making physical object

I think it is really important for me to make physical object as the project final outcome. I doubt about work that on piece of paper and just on theory. Design should be more than creating beautiful images (i.e. rendering or floor plan)
I want my work can be physically engaged by the others.

Found furniture

I just found another piece of chair right next to my flat. It was broken but look quite nice. I hate how people easily discard their furniture these days. I think this piece is totally usable for my work.

I normally manage my work in a printed format. I just realized that it is such a waste, if I don't use the internet to share what I have been doing to everyone. As I have the freedom here, to express whatever I want.; as Antony Gormley said, self-express is the core value of an artist.

It is more like a unconscious casual collage. My intention was just to decorate my room in London.

As a Hong Kongese, it is luxury to have your own room. Not until I move to London, I used to share a small room with my brother.

I bought the picture frame, and somehow chose the above photos. The middle one I took from Hong Kong, just out of my friend's home window, what you can see is a lot of high rise building. The picture on both side are Athens and Edinburgh which I took in 2011. What I tried to express is the unlivable high density of Hong Kong and the huge contract between places.

What more iconic is I put it next to the world map. I won't stop traveling.
